Get your account and connect your payment service

Pick a plan and get your account. We create it and email you a link to your console. There you connect Paddle, Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, Gumroad or Polar, or point any other store at the licence API.

Give the guide to your AI agent

Open your plugin project in Claude Code, Cursor or any coding agent and hand it GIVE-THIS-TO-YOUR-AI-AGENT.md. It adds the licensing module, explains each change in plain English and waits for your OK before the next one.

Sell. Buyers unlock with their email and key

Every sale creates a signed licence and emails the key. Your buyer types their email and key into your plugin once. After that the plugin checks the licence on their computer.

What you get

Everything a paid plugin needs after the checkout, already built and tested.

  • An activation screen inside your plugin, in your colours and with your plugin’s name, plus free trials and a “deactivate this computer” button.
  • A licence key for every sale, created the moment the payment goes through. Refunds and chargebacks switch the copy off by themselves.
  • A hosted buy page, and buy and download links you can paste into any website, on any host.
  • Downloads that only buyers can open.
  • A page where buyers look up a lost key and get it sent again.
  • A console with every licence, buyer and computer, and a JSON or CSV export whenever you want it.

Why it's safe

Licences can’t be forged. Each licence is signed with Ed25519 on our server, and your plugin checks the signature itself against a public key built into it. The private key never leaves the server and is stored encrypted.
Buyers keep working offline. The plugin checks the licence on the buyer’s own computer. It looks online about once a week, and it only needs to get through once every 30 days.
Refunds really end the licence. When a buyer is refunded or charges back, the next online check switches that copy off.
Your account is walled off. Every developer’s data is kept separate, and our test suite checks that one account can never read another’s.
Your data stays yours. Export every licence and buyer as JSON or CSV at any time.

We don't take a cut of your sales

Buyers pay you through your own payment service, and the money goes straight to you. We charge a flat monthly plan based on how many active licences you have. Your payment service's own fees are between you and them.

From a plugin with no licensing to your first sale, step by step.

Get your account

Tell us about your plugin and pick a plan. We create your account and email you a link to set your console password, plus the guide and the licensing module.

Connect your payment service

In the console, connect Paddle, Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, Gumroad or Polar. The console shows the exact address to paste into your payment service’s webhook settings. Using another store? Call the licence API from it instead.

Add your product

Create your plugin in the console and match it to the product in your payment service, so every sale knows which plugin it’s for.

Let your AI agent add the module

Open your plugin project in your coding agent and give it GIVE-THIS-TO-YOUR-AI-AGENT.md. The agent adds licensing to your plugin, puts the activation screen in it, and builds it. For JUCE plugins (CMake or Projucer) it uses a ready-made module. It explains each step in plain English and waits for your OK before moving on.

Test it with a sandbox purchase

Buy your own plugin in your payment service’s test mode. The licence arrives, you activate it in your plugin, and you refund it to see the copy switch off.

Go live

Switch your payment service to live mode. From then on every sale creates a licence and emails the key.

How long does it take?

The guide has 16 steps. It can take around 30 minutes, depending on how fast you work and which model you use.

What your buyer sees

  3. 3.They open your plugin, type their email and key, and click Activate.

Pricing questions

What counts as an active licence?

A paid licence that was sold, activated or used in the last 90 days, and has not been refunded, charged back or revoked. Trials do not count. If a launch goes quiet, licences nobody uses drop out of the count by themselves.

What happens if I go past my plan's limit?

Nothing stops working. Your buyers keep activating. You move to the next plan from the following month, and we tell you before anything changes.

Do you take a percentage of my sales?

No. Buyers pay you through your own payment service. You pay us the flat monthly plan, and your payment service charges its own fees.

Can I change plans?

Yes, up or down, from the next month.

Do I need to know how to code?

Not much. Your AI coding agent does the code changes from the guide and explains each one in plain English before it makes it. You can also tell it in plain English exactly what you want, and any changes you'd like.

How long does setup take?

The guide has 16 steps. It can take around 30 minutes, depending on how fast you work and which model you use. If you need any help at all, email support@almudio.com at any time.

Which payment services does it work with?

Paddle, Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, Gumroad and Polar out of the box. Any other store can create licences through the licence API.

Does it only work with JUCE?

No. Any plugin that can make a web request and check a signature can use it. JUCE plugins (CMake or Projucer) get a ready-made module and a step-by-step guide. For other frameworks, your agent works from the API documentation.

What does my buyer have to do?

Type their email and licence key into your plugin once. If they lose the key, the lookup page sends it again.

What if my buyer has no internet?

The plugin checks the licence on their computer, so it works offline. It looks online about once a week and needs to get through at least once every 30 days. If it can't for 30 days, it asks the buyer to connect once.

Can I leave later?

Yes. Export every licence and buyer as JSON or CSV at any time. Because your plugin checks in with our server, moving to another system means shipping a plugin update.

Do you take a cut of my sales?
